A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

The thesis is focused on the draft of a financial plan for the engineering company PBS Turbo s.r.o. for the period 2020-2023. The first chapter of this thesis consists of theoretical aspects, which are necessary for making a financial plan. The following part is practical, dealing with the company's introduction and its strategic and financial analysis. Based on the results of the analyses, a financial plan in an optimistic and pessimistic variant is proposed in the final part, including their evaluation.

Second chapter contains theoretical solution, which is needed for financial planning. The third part contain introduction of the company and its strategic and financial analysis. Last part of master´s thesis is focused on suggestion of the financial plan in optimistic and pessimistic variant, including their evaluation.

This master’s thesis is focused on a Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan for industrial company P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for years 2019 to 2022. First chapter of this master’s thesis is oriented in goals, methods and approaches of this thesis. Next part is aiming at theoretical solution for financial planning. Third chapter contains information about analyzed company, application of selected methods of strategic analysis and financial analysis including evaluation of the state of company and detection of potential deficiencies. Last chapter of this thesis is focused on suggestion, formation and evaluation of the financial plan for P-D Refractories CZ a.s. for next four years.

To achieve the goals, a solution design is chosen in the form of software implementation for demand forecasting, automated order design, inventory, and supply chain management. Through the set indicators, the progress after implementation and the economic benefits of the software to improve the company's performance are evaluated.

The topic of the diploma thesis is to create a corporate financial plan for a selected company.The company is primarily focused on the implementation of gas pipelines and pipelines’ products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical basis, followed by a presentation of the selected company, madeout of strategic and financial analysis. This part of the work ends with a SWOT analysis. The last part deals with the compilation of a corporate financial plan for a pessimistic and optimistic variant. The conclusion of the work is the evaluation of both variants of the compiled business plan.

Transition to emission-free personal transportation in the Czech Republic

What is the future of electric vehicles? Road transportation significantly con- tributes to undesired emissions which can cause health issues and environmen- tal damage. Replacing conventional vehicles with electric vehicles can be an adequate solution. This thesis aims to forecast the level of adoption of elec- tric passenger vehicles in the Czech Republic until 2050, using monthly vehicle registry data from 2009 to 2022. Using the Bass diffusion model, we estimate innovation and imitation parameters to forecast (the first) incremental and cu- mulative adoption of battery electric and, partly, of plug-in hybrid vehicles, until 2050. We rely on an exogenously pre-defined passenger vehicle fleet since the approach based on endogenously determined stock fails to provide a cred- ible forecast. Due to the low adoption rate of battery electric vehicles before 2016, we examine how using more recent data or calibration of the innovation parameter may improve the forecasting model. We also model the replacements of battery electric vehicles after their retirement to derive a total number of new registrations. Additional forecasts are performed for different fleet sizes and retirement ages. We have found that the calibration-based forecast pro- vides a larger share of battery electric vehicles until 2030...
